Behind the Mask of Terror - Minhaj Azzhak

Minhaj Azzhak also known as M AZ, the enigmatic villain from the novel Neelum Ka Markat, is a complex web of contradictions. His life, once filled with promise and love, was forever changed by a series of tragic events. Born in Saudi Arabia, M AZ was a devoted family man, deeply in love with his younger sister. His world revolved around her, and he took great joy in teaching her and watching her grow.

 A Heart Turned to Stone:
But fate had other plans. At the age of 18, M AZ fell deeply in love with a girl who turned out to be linked to the underworld. He was drugged and nearly taken advantage of, but managed to escape. This traumatic experience left an indelible mark on his heart, filling him with anger and a deep-seated mistrust of others.

A Sister Lost, a Life Forever Changed:
The devastating loss of his sister in a university bombing shook M AZ to his core. He was powerless to save her, and the guilt and grief that followed consumed him. His world was shattered, and he became obsessed with seeking revenge against the army he held responsible for his sister's death.

The Birth of a Terrorist:
M AZ's desire for revenge led him down a dark path, and he eventually became a feared terrorist himself. He built an empire of blood, using his charisma and intelligence to manipulate others and further his own agenda. But beneath the surface, M AZ was still a broken and hurting soul, driven by a deep-seated pain and anger.

A Love That Changed Everything:
Then, at the age of 32, M AZ met Neelum, a beautiful girl who accidentally touched his heart. For the first time in years, M AZ felt a spark of hope and love. He was smitten, and his poetry and declarations of love poured out of him like a fountain. He kept that pink diary really close to his heart which contained his love for her. But fate had other plans, and Neelum was already in love with an army officer tasked with capturing M AZ.

A Betrayal That Shattered His World:
M AZ's world was shattered when he discovered Neelum's betrayal. She also turned out to be an army agent who had a task to get his secrets. He had given her his heart, and she had crushed it beneath her feet. The pain and anger that followed were overwhelming, and M AZ's actions became increasingly erratic and violent.

A Tragic End:
In the end, M AZ's love for Neelum proved to be his downfall. A statement said by him "Qalbi Qatlini" shatters every reader's heart. He was shot by her husband, and his mind was forever shattered by the scene of Neelum in the arms of his enemy. M AZ's final days were spent in a mental asylum, his mind consumed by thoughts of Neelum and the love they shared.

M AZ's story is a complex and tragic one, full of twists and turns that ultimately lead to his downfall. Though he was a villain, responsible for countless deaths and destruction, he was also a deeply human and vulnerable soul. His love for Neelum was pure and true, and his betrayal at her hands was a crushing blow from which he never recovered.

No matter how dark his soul was, no one even Neelum didn't have the right to play with his emotions. He's the villain I can never stop defending. But it doesn't matter I guess, because for the world he was still a terrorist.
