The Tormented Soul - Aman Malik
If villains are grey, so are the other people of each story. Only villains accept their actions but people don't and think they have the right to make the villain's already miserable existence more unforgivble...
As I reflect on the novel Hinave, I am reminded of the complex and multifaceted character of Aman Malik, the antagonist. His journey is a poignant exploration of the human condition, marked by arrogance, brutality, and ultimately, shame. This blog post will delve into the intricacies of Aman's character, exploring his transformation from a self-absorbed brat to a remorseful individual, and the consequences of his actions.
Aman's Early Days:
Aman's introduction in the novel Hinave is marked by his arrogant and entitled behavior. He is portrayed as a spoiled brat, accustomed to getting his way through manipulation and coercion. His actions are driven by a sense of self-importance, with little regard for the feelings or well-being of those around him.
Aman's Descent into Darkness:
As the story progresses, Aman's actions become increasingly heinous, earning him the title of villain. He engages in manipulative and abusive behavior, causing harm to those closest to him, including Hinave (his love). Aman's descent into darkness is a testament to the destructive power of unchecked ego and ambition.
His Love for Hinave:
Although an egoistic brat, Aman loved hinave from the depth of his heart. His confessions have really left me stunned like how someone could be this much knee deep in love?
"Hinave, I am forever bound to you, my love, my heart, my everything. In your love, I find solace, redemption, and a sense of purpose that eludes me in all else."
In another confession he said,
"Hinave, my love for you is a tempest that rages within me, a maelstrom that consumes my every waking thought, and a passion that burns brighter with each passing moment."
Aman's Road to Remorse:
However, as the consequences of his actions become apparent, Aman begins to exhibit signs of remorse. He is forced to confront the harm he has caused, and the gravity of his mistakes weighs heavily on his conscience. Aman's transformation from a self-absorbed brat to a remorseful individual is a poignant exploration of the human capacity for growth and self-awareness.
Aman's Ultimate Fate:
Despite Aman's remorse, Hinave is unable to forgive him for his transgressions and as a result he is not able to forgive himself. This refusal to forgive serves as a powerful reminder that the consequences of our actions can be irreparable.
Villains, by their very nature, are often unforgivable, but I really think he deserved redemption. If his soul was dark then so was Hinave's. Her hate for him shattered him into pieces and he never moved on from her innocent eyes.
Aman was wrong in his actions still he deserved a chance but, people while dealing with villains often forget that they're still the human beings, creatures who do mistakes.

ReplyDeleteI don't get how Hinave is wrong
ReplyDeleteWhen aman felt guilty and asked her forgiveness she could've forgiven him if not then at least shouldn't have continuously tried to destroy him
